The 74th Miss Universe delegates embraced Thailand’s rich culture and spirit of strength as they explored the southern island of Phuket this week.
The queens did physical activities at Tiger Muay Thai, where they were introduced to the country’s revered national sport. Muay Thai, often called the “art of eight limbs,” is not only a form of combat but also a symbol of discipline, respect, and resilience deeply rooted in Thai heritage.
Filipina bet Ahtisa Manalo kept it sleek in a black top and shorts, while Miss Thailand stood out in Muay Thai shorts adorned with a gold accent. Together with fellow delegates, they learned the fundamentals of Muay Thai, balancing strength and grace through every punch, kick, and stance.
The experience became a celebration of women’s empowerment through movement, reminding everyone that true beauty shines brightest when paired with courage and focus.
Following the adrenaline of training, the delegates continued their adventure at Hanuman World, gliding through treetop walkways and zip lines across Phuket’s lush rainforest.
As night fell, they immersed themselves in the grandeur of Siam Niramit Phuket, where Thai history came alive through dazzling performances of music, dance, and drama. From traditional attire to vivid storytelling, the show paid homage to the country’s cultural depth and enduring spirit — showing that strength and beauty are most powerful when grounded in heritage and peace.
Before that, the Miss Universe journey continued with a celebration of Thai creativity at Simon Cabaret and Carnival Magic. Delegates were enthralled by spectacular displays of costume design, choreography, and storytelling, proving that art transcends borders and languages.
