Philippine representative Ahtisa Manalo has arrived in Bangkok, Thailand on Sunday, November 2 for the Miss Universe pageant.
The Miss Universe Philippines Organization shared snapshots of Ahtisa's arrival in Bangkok, wherein she was warmly welcomed by her fans.
"What a welcome! Crowds cheered and waved as Ahtisa Manalo arrived in Thailand for Miss Universe 2025. The love and support were overwhelming — truly a queen welcomed with open hearts. 👑✨ The Universe feels the Filipino pride," the organization posted.
In another post, Ahtisa also met with the pageant's executive, Nawat Itsaragrisil, on her first day in Thailand.
"A warm welcome to kick off the first day of The 74th Miss Universe! 💫Our Miss Universe Philippines 2025 Ahtisa Manalo meets Mr. Nawat, Vice President of Miss Universe Asiana and President of Host Country Thailand," the organization shared.
In an interview during her send-off press conference in late October, Ahtisa promised to give her all in the competition.
"This send-off, this is just the beginning of our competition. Mayroon pa tayong ilalaban na fifth crown, so I really hope that you still support me all throughout my Miss Universe journey when I get to Thailand. And ilalaban ko kayo lahat," she remarked.
The beauty queen added: "I will do my best. I will make sure that the Ahtisa of the Miss Universe stage is the best Ahtisa ever."
In a previous interview with PeopleAsia in September, Ahtisa discussed her preparations for the upcoming Miss Universe pageant in Thailand this November.
"For me, it's just being my best when I get there. My team is making sure that I am my most prepared and I am the best Ahtisa when I go to Thailand," she relayed.
The beauty queen remarked that she and her team are focusing on what they can control.
"That's really all we can do. We can only fix things that we can control, so the normal things like training for pasarela, hair and makeup. I go to the gym every day, I control what I eat, communications. I am even trying acting workshops. I think it's gonna help me by putting myself in a stressful situation 'cause I haven't done [acting] before," she said.
The coronation night of Miss Universe 2025, which will be the 74th edition of the pageant, is set to be held at the Impact Challenger Hall in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Thailand, on November 21.
