Aside from Miss Universe and Miss International, two more global pageants are set to take place this year.
Chelsea Fernandez and Cyrille Payumo are ready to bring their A-game as they graced their send-off press conference on Wednesday, November 12.
Fernandez will compete in the second Miss Cosmo pageant in Vietnam, with the coronation night set on December 20.
This will be her second time to represent the Philippines internationally, after her Top 15 finish in Miss Globe in 2022.
The Miss Cosmo pageant was launched in 2024, with Ahtisa Manalo as the Philippines' first-ever delegate. After settling for a Top 10 placement, she went on to set her sights on the Miss Universe crown.
Payumo, meanwhile, will wear the Philippine sash in Miss Charm, with the finals set on December 13, also in Vietnam.
Also a new pageant, the first Miss Charm was held in 2023, with Filipina Annabelle McDonnell placing first runner-up. The following year, Kayla Carter finished in the Top 20.
Pageant fans are optimistic that Fernandez and Payumo will perform well in their respective competitions.
The Philippines has so far had an impressive run in pageantry this year, highlighted by title wins in Miss Grand International, Mister International, Miss Eco International, and Reina Hispanoamericana.
