MANILA — Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray was among the celebrities who attended the 20th anniversary celebration of Cornerstone Entertainment on Wednesday night.
In a brief chat with ABS-CBN News, the beauty queen shared how she’s been doing since her split from actor Sam Milby earlier this year.
“Okay naman. Okay naman ako!” Gray said with her signature queenly smile.

But is she dating? “Wala pa,” she quickly replied.
Last March, Milby finally confirmed his break-up with Catriona after months of silence. The two were engaged to be married last February 2023 but this was called off. Milby clarified that no third party was involved.
Gray has remained quiet during this period, and for the first time, shared how she managed to heal herself from the breakup and moved on with her life.
“I think being around with my friends and family, trying to see the lesson on things and just to trust,” she said.
What did she do in this period of time?
“A lot of traveling, a lot of working, I’m really looking forward to doing trips with my family. Spending a lot of time with my parents especially my dad who is 80 now, also finding time to celebrate with my family and friends and to be here to celebrate Cornerstone’s 20th anniversary,” she said.
Both Milby and Gray belong under the same talent management team, so it’s inevitable that they would cross paths at events. We then asked her if they are friends.
“I mean we’re fine. We don’t keep in touch often as friends, as how I define friends. We are not in constant communication but I wish him well,” she said.
