MANILA -- Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray once again showed her love for her country as she joined the "Trillion Peso March" along EDSA on Sunday afternoon, September 21, 2025.
Gray was among of the personalities who joined the protest demanding for accountability for the alleged corruption in flood control projects. She was with her fellow beauty queen Nicole Cordoves.
In her Instagram account, Gray stressed that Filipinos deserve to know where their taxes are going.
"Pilipinas. Nafefeel nyo ba? We wear no colours - we stand together united for our nation. We pay our taxes. And as responsible, law abiding, tax paying citizens we DESERVE to know (and see) that our taxes are going towards the betterment of our nation," Gray wrote.
Like millions of Filipinos, Gray is demanding for accountability and "clean up the corrupt." She also urged the leaders of the country to fight for its people.
"We will not be satisfied with theatrics, or empty promises. Tama na acting!! All of our eyes are on our leaders. How you handle your positions - we will be watching and demanding good and fair governance. We demand accountability! We call on our leaders to CLEAN UP THE CORRUPT! Sa mga lider namin, the ball is in your court.. ipaglaban niyo kami. Change takes time. But the time to change is NOW. #STOPTHECORRUPTION 🇵🇭," she added.
Other celebrities who joined the September 21 protest were Vice Ganda, Donny Pangilianan, Ion Perez, Hackie Gonzaga, Anne Curtis, and Jasmin Curtis-Smith.
Also spotted were Maris Racal, Elijah Canlas, Andrea Brillantes, Angel Aquino, Gardo Versoza, Alex Medina, DJ Chacha, Gabbi Garcia, Khalil Ramos, Julia Barretto, Leon Barretto, Marjorie Barretto, Tessie Tomas, and Iza Calzado.
