Yakumi brings Akune Gold Wagyu to Solaire

Yakumi at Solaire Resort Entertainment City will showcase Akune Gold Wagyu from Kagoshima, Japan, in a two-day dining event on September 26 and 27.
The September 26 dinner will feature a live carving demonstration by Japanese master butcher Hideki Tanaka, a Starzen Wagyu cutting specialist with more than 13 years of experience, followed by a seven-course menu featuring four cuts of Akune Gold.
Menu highlights include chuck short rib chawanmushi with truffle dashi, roasted brisket with shiso radish ponzu, and short rib and plate sukiyaki.
The celebration continues September 27 with Yakumi's Meat Heaven Sunday brunch, featuring Akune Gold Wagyu, foie gras and other premium selections.

Hong Kong MX Mooncakes bring new flavors to the Philippines

Hong Kong MX Mooncakes has launched its 2026 Mid-Autumn collection in the Philippines, combining traditional mooncakes with new flavors and collectible packaging.
The lineup includes the brand's White Lotus Seed Paste Mooncake with Two Egg Yolks, its Lava Custard Mooncake and a new Earl Grey Mooncake with a bergamot-infused filling.
For fans of Sanrio, the MX Kuromi Mooncake Gift Box contains four White Lotus Seed Paste Mooncakes with Egg Yolk, along with a detachable Kuromi charm and beaded keychain. The collectible box is designed like a purple storybook.
The collection is available at S Maison, SM Aura, Ayala Malls Vertis North, GH Mall and Nu Star Cebu, as well as through the brand's online channels.
Fish & Co. adds seafood buckets and solo meals

Fish & Co. has introduced the Fisherman's Bucket, a seafood spread designed for groups, as well as its All Yours, All Day Season 3 menu for solo diners.
The Fisherman's Bucket comes in two sizes: the Sailor's Catch for two to three people at P1,850 and the Captain's Bucket for four to five people at P2,950. Both include clams, mussels, tiger prawns, crab and corn, with a choice of Singapore Chili, Lemon Butter, Chili Garlic or Ginger sauce.
Rice platters and additional seafood can be ordered separately.
For solo diners, All Yours, All Day Season 3 starts at P385 and includes an appetizer, entree and drink. Choices include Fish and Squid Sisig, Fish with Garlic Parmesan, Grilled Pork Loin with Brown Gravy Sauce and Chicken Curry. Grilled Honey Lime BBQ Chicken is available for an additional P65.

URC rolls out new flavors across its snack brands

Universal Robina Corp. is introducing new flavors and formats across several of its food and beverage brands as it marks its 70th year.
Among the new products are Piattos Cheddar & Sour Cream, Cream-O Dark Choco, Cloud 9 Crunchies, Maxx Chews and C2 Freeze Melon.
Great Taste has also introduced Great Taste Premium, a coffee mix made with dark-roasted robusta coffee, palm sugar and real milk, while Payless has added Chili Garlic Mami in Beef and Chicken variants.
Other URC brands including Nova, Mang Juan, VCut, Chippy, Chiz Curls, Dewberry, Presto, Magic Crackers, Nips, XO, Dynamite and Lush continue to offer new flavors and formats.
Dairy Queen teams up with KitKat for new Blizz collection

Dairy Queen has partnered with KitKat for the new Breakout Blizz collection, featuring six desserts built around the chocolate wafer.
The lineup includes three Blizzards: Caramel Almond Chill, Berry Much Done and Tired-Me-Su, starting at P119. There is also a Caramel Almond Chill Parfait for P189, Mudpie Me-Time Tin Cake for P439 and Cherry-Out-Here Blizzard Cake starting at P749.
The desserts are available for dine-in, takeout and delivery through GrabFood, foodpanda and Pickaroo, with prices potentially varying by platform.
Joey G brings OPM to Hard Rock Cafe Manila
