HandoutEmirates has unveiled the world's first electric premium economy seat, which comes with a full-height adjustable privacy screen and other business class features.
Only 28 seats are installed in a spacious 2-3-2 configuration in Emirates' Airbus A350 aircraft. Each premium economy seat measures 20 inches wide and offer up to 39 inches of seat pitch.
With the touch of a button, passengers can raise or lower the divider, adjust their preferred seating position, and even recline without intruding on the row behind them.
Emirates has also upgraded its U-Dream leather headrest designed by Safran Seats, with adjustable wings for better neck and head support, and a footrest to reduce leg fatigue.

On top of this, the airline is introducing wireless charging to premium economy for the first time, letting customers power USB-C devices on a tray table with an integrated phone holder.
Other features include a 13.3-inch 4K HDR touchscreen for in-flight entertainment and enhanced aircraft camera views.

Customers can enjoy chef-prepared menus presented on Royal Doulton fine china, complete with linen napkins and stainless steel Robert Welch cutlery.
Meals are served with a curated selection of acclaimed wines and other beverages. Among these is Chandon Vintage Brut 2021, an Emirates premium economy exclusive.
On long-haul flights, passengers in the newly launched seats receive reusable amenity kits. Designed in partnership with United for Wildlife, each includes socks, eyeshades, earplugs, and a dental kit.
