While reality teaches us that true friends are hard to find, “Someone, Someday” continues to enlighten viewers about what real friendship looks like, especially through triumphs and adversities. Thanks to the LoveList family—consisting of Billy Cariño (Kathryn Bernardo), Charm Torres (Majoy Apostol), Toni Prieto (Kat Galang), Marj Quinto (Gela Atayde), Blaire Espiritu (Verna Joy Periwinkle), and Valerie Jones (Daniela Stranner)—every episode is infused with the perfect dose of supportive words and comforting presence from the characters.
New squad spotted: The LoveList Family serving total friendship vibes behind the scenes
If you adore the LoveList girls as much as we do, these 10 scenes will absolutely put a smile on your face!
#1: Billy proudly introduces her LoveList family
All eyes were on CEO Billy during LoveList’s second-anniversary celebration. While she clearly shone under the spotlight, Billy proved to be a natural leader by sharing the credit with her besties-turned-colleagues, Charm and Toni. She also introduced the team’s youngest member, Marj, while Blaire cheered from the crowd. Meanwhile, Valerie first appeared as a guest, as she was not yet a part of LoveList and mainly felt displeased at Billy’s closeness with Jordan (James Reid).
#2: LoveLine is named as the next project for LoveList
Right after the success of LoveSpeak, Billy proposed “LoveLine” to her team—a new feature allowing LoveList users to converse with real professionals for real-time relationship advice. Since it was still in development at the time, Charm, Toni, and Marj immediately focused on further preparations. While Toni raised concerns about the company’s tight financial situation, Billy remained optimistic that they would secure an investor.
#3: Charm and Toni couldn’t forget how Alvin had hurt Billy in the past
It turned out that their next investor was Alvin (JC de Vera), Billy’s ex-fiancé, who was also the newly appointed vice president of AnCore Ventures. Despite the shocking revelation, Billy chose to remain composed and decided to proceed with their crucial business partnership. On the other hand, Charm and Toni sarcastically reminded Alvin of his past wrongdoings toward Billy, specifically when he abandoned her on their wedding day for another woman.
#4: The LoveList family shares a hug after overcoming a challenge
Following the hacking incident orchestrated by Caloy (McCoy de Leon) and Bea (Maja Salvador), LoveList seemed to be on the brink of collapse—especially since they also lost the investment deal with AnCore Ventures. Billy went on to personally fund LoveLine, and Valerie ultimately joined the team after having a mature conversation with her. The teasers for the project also garnered one million views thanks to Valerie’s involvement and influence, alongside the increased engagements. Billy then took the opportunity to thank her team for trusting her enough to take risks.
#5: Billy delivers the good news regarding their new investor
As LoveLine continued, Billy eventually secured a deal with another investor. Upon hearing the good news, Toni mentioned a potential salary increase for them all, though Billy gently reminded her that they should first improve the application’s system for LoveList users.
#6: LoveFeast becomes another goal for LoveList
Ideas remain abundant for the LoveList family, especially with Billy’s fresh suggestion of “LoveFeast,” a wedding package for engaged LoveList couples. Everyone agreed with the concept, particularly Valerie, who emphasized that it would make LoveList more reputable. Toni then grew concerned once more about their funds, but her worries soon dissipated as Billy spoke about sponsors and Valerie recalled her collaborations.
#7: LoveList members reassure Billy that she is not alone
Behind her hardworking persona, Billy was actually struggling with several challenges at once—most notably the hackers and her estranged father’s unexpected return. While Marj appreciated Billy’s strength, Toni and Charm reminded Billy that she could rely on them and should allow herself to feel vulnerable.
#8: Toni, Charm, Marj, and Blaire go up against Bea
Another challenge for the LoveList family was the strange arrival of the deceitful Bea, who tried to get hired at the company and stole the LoveFeast concept. Initially portrayed as an obsessive fan of Billy and LoveList, Bea was soon revealed to be seeking ambiguous revenge against her. In an attempt to settle the score with Bea, the LoveList team purchased Bea’s PC units to donate them to Angels of Grace: Center for Women.
Soon enough, a fight broke out, resulting in Toni getting punched, but the LoveList girls triumphed and even retrieved Billy’s long-lost heels from Bea.
#9: Billy unveils a better version of LoveFeast
Giving up was not an option for LoveList, as they brainstormed better alternatives to LoveFeast, which had already been launched by Pebbling through Bea. Instead of offering a basic wedding package, LoveList sought to encourage couples to bring their dream weddings to life, no matter the concept, through “Happily Ever After.”
#10: The LoveList family pulls off a birthday surprise for Billy
Taking a break from a string of problems, the whole LoveList family surprised Billy for her birthday, complete with cakes, balloons, and placards. Blaire then took the opportunity to express her gratitude to Billy for regularizing the company’s contractual workers. For Billy, she would never leave behind her LoveList family because they stayed with her throughout the hard times.
