While the strangely vengeful Bea Mercado and fiercely protective Jordan Valentin can barely stand each other in the eventful “Someone, Someday,” celebrated Kapamilya stars Maja Salvador and James Reid actually radiate positive vibes together in real life. Get more familiar with Maja and James as they candidly respond to these rapid-fire questions.

When asked about her favorite acting project, Maja quickly named her heartbreaking 2017 film “I’m Drunk, I Love You,” co-starring Paulo Avelino. While it is a little similar to “Someone, Someday,” especially since the story also features two longtime best friends as its protagonists, it is in fact different by giving a realistic perspective about unrequited love.

To describe himself in a single word, James humorously chose “wizard,” prompting Maja to mention the widely recognized fantasy film “The Wizard of Oz.” Further entertaining the audience, James then delivered a witty pun, calling himself a wizard from “OzTralia” (Australia), his birthplace.

Speaking about Maja’s biggest weakness, she referred to her excessively caring personality, which at times manifested as self-sacrifice. “Siguro ‘yung grabe akong mag-care sa iba. I care so much for other people that sometimes I forget about myself,” she explained.

If James’ identity were associated with a specific food, he would surprisingly be an orange. This amusing choice prompted Maja to recall the viral “Sharmaine” Filipino meme, though James had not yet heard of it.

As for Maja’s go-to karaoke song, she proudly named Aegis’ “Halik,” even confidently belting out its famous verses. James’ musicality was also highlighted as he effortlessly showcased his smooth vocals by singing “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing,” by Aerosmith. “Gwapo talaga ano?” Maja complimented James.

Watch out for Maja and James’ heated arguments in “Someone, Someday,” streaming on iWant and airing weeknights at 8:45 pm on ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, Kapamilya Channel, TV5, A2Z, and Kapamilya Online Live (KOL).
