While on their way home from Rudy’s (Coco Martin) birthday celebration, Gabo’s friends are approached by a group of children led by Kulot (Kulot Caponpon). Crying, she tells them that a group of armed men has once again attacked her father and their neighbors.
Knowing that Gabo is already having a tough time, Tekla (Sue Ramirez) tells their friends not to bother him anymore, especially since they are all armed. However, they strongly insist that Gabo needs to know about the incident, so they return to the Magtibay
residence and inform him. Upon learning from his friends what was happening, Gabo immediately takes out his double short swords and advises Gloria/Sam (Julia Montes) to stay home.
As Gabo and his friends fight off the goons and rescue their helpless neighbors, Sam and his family can’t help but worry about him. However, as much as they want to go after him, Sam and Rudy are stopped by Mameng (Ces Quesada), who warns that their presence might only make the situation worse. Thus, Sam has no choice but to stay put and wait for her husband to return home.
Waiting alone outside their house, Sam can’t help but realize that she has already grown deeply concerned about Gabo and is slowly becoming more attached to him and his family.
