As Rudy’s (Joey Marquez) birthday celebration continues, their neighbors cheer for Gabo (Coco Martin) as he takes the microphone from his friends who had just finished their impromptu performance.
He proudly professes his love for his pretend wife, Gloria/Sam (Julia Montes), through a heartfelt song number—much to the kilig and delight of everyone around them. Just like with their mission, Gabo’s friends also give their all-out support to him as he serenades Gloria—except for Tekla (Sue Ramirez), whose jealousy and lack of enthusiasm are painfully obvious as she watches everything unfold right in front of her.
Even though she’s just also pretending and riding along to the game Gabo is playing, Sam can’t help herself from getting kilig over his grand gesture, especially when he tells her “I love you” while their faces are only a few centimeters away from each other.
While Gloria is glowing with joy and thrill as everybody around them, Tekla sits quietly and morosely among their neighbors, clearly heartbroken to see that the guy she has loved ever since they were young is already in love with somebody else.
