Making her first time performing in Sydney one to remember, “It’s Showtime” host Anne Curtis gave the “ASAP XP Australia” audience not just one, but two showcases of her unique birit prowess.
After wowing the crowd with her rendition of “Bakit Nga Ba Mahal Kita” in the previous episode of the star-studded musical variety show, Anne returned to the stage in the August 9 episode to once again show off her vocals with a powerful performance of “Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw.”
She was not alone in taking over the stage, however, as she was joined by birit divas Klarisse de Guzman, Angeline Quinto, and Jona. The performance was especially sweet for Anne’s beloved mother, Mommy Carmen, who was among the audience cheering proudly for her daughter as she held her own alongside the powerhouse singers.
The crowd erupted in cheers as Anne reached the song’s soaring high notes, with the audience getting on their feet, clapping and screaming in support. As the song drew to a close, the three divas playfully dropped to their knees, seemingly surrendering to Anne’s vocal prowess, before she joined them on the floor as they delivered the final notes.
