Amid the world-class musical performances that wowed audiences, "ASAP XP" brought a comedic interlude to its Australia leg with a hilarious "Meteor Garden" parody featuring Donny Pangilinan, Robi Domingo, Kyle Echarri, Darren Espanto, and Melai Cantiveros.
What began as a playful Instagram post by Robi—where he shared a mock poster introducing himself, Donny, Kyle, Darren, and Melai as the cast of a fictional Filipino version of the phenomenal Taiwanese drama—came to life onstage at the TikTok Entertainment Center.
The audience burst into laughter and kilig as the stars made their entrances one by one, with Donny opening the segment before being joined by Darren, Kyle, Robi, and Melai. Together, they performed Josh Santana's "Byahe," the Tagalog version of the drama's beloved soundtrack "Can't Lose You," before transitioning to the original song itself, delighting the crowd with both nostalgia and humor.
The fun continued with witty banter among the five Kapamilya stars. Robi jokingly asked Melai why she believed she was the perfect actress to portray Shan Cai if Meteor Garden were ever adapted into a Filipino series, teasing her with, "Medyo kahawig mo, ah?"
Never missing a comedic beat, Melai quipped, "Siguro nasa akin talaga 'yong awra ni Shan Cai because who else?" She then joked that ASAP had no other choice because the show's other female Kapamilya stars were already busy with their own production numbers.

True to its parody format, the skit was filled with laugh-out-loud twists. Donny suddenly broke into dance to "Maui Wowie" by Kid Cudi and "Ooo Lala Baby" by the Showtime Baby Dolls, before sharing a hilarious "nose-to-nose" moment with Melai after she pretended to faint. The sketch concluded on a high note when "ASAP" audio man Kuya William unexpectedly stepped in to replace Donny, much to the audience's amusement.
