MANILA — Singer Angeline Quinto is going all out in her preparations for her upcoming 15th anniversary concert, “AQUINSE,” pushing through with rehearsals despite the rainy weather as the big night draws closer.
Quinto shared that her schedule has been packed with almost daily rehearsals, from reviewing her songs and production numbers to dance practices and voice lessons.
The singer added that she continues to work closely with her vocal coach, Annie Quintos (Teacher Annie), to make sure her voice is ready for the demanding show.
For Quinto, even bad weather is not enough to stop her from showing up for rehearsals.
“Siyempre naman! Tuloy ang laban! Rain or shine!
The singer explained that she wants to give everything she has to the concert, which marks a milestone she will only get to celebrate once in her career.
“Kasi siyempre, itong concert na ’to, 15th anniversary concert, hindi ko na ’to mababalikan. At minsan lang ’to mangyayari sa buhay ko, talagang gagawin ko lahat para dito,” she said.
“Lahat ng preparation na kailangan gawin, basta kailangan at nandiyan ang mga taong tumutulong sa akin para mas mapaganda ang show, gagawin namin,” she added.
Quinto also teased that audiences will see a different side of her through some of the concert’s more intense production numbers.
Asked how demanding the performances will be, she joked that she sometimes barely recognizes herself during rehearsals.
Parang pag humaharap ako sa salamin, ‘Sino ka nga?’” she said.
According to Quinto, several numbers will feature performances she has never attempted before, requiring a different level of preparation ahead of the show.
Quinto said she is grateful for the team guiding her throughout the preparations, stressing that she needs to be more than ready once she steps onstage.
“Kailangan talagang 101% ready talaga ako sa show,” she said.
“AQUINSE” will be held on August 22, with Quinto celebrating 15 years in the entertainment industry through a show she considers another dream coming true.
Yay! Saya ko! See you, mga Kapamilya!” she said.
