The Viva Hot Babes are getting back together.

VAA Live Inc. announced on Friday, August 14, that the girl group behind "Bulaklak" will stage a reunion concert on Friday, October 23, at the New Frontier Theater in Cubao, Quezon City.

Titled BULAKLAK: Viva Hot Babes Reunion Concert, the show will be directed by GB Sampedro.

The first batch of performers named by VAA Live includes Maui Taylor, Katya Santos, Andrea del Rosario, Gwen Garci, Sheree, Jaycee Parker, Ella V., and Jennifer Lee. The company said more names will be announced.

Tickets are priced from P1,500 to P6,800.

The announcement caps months of speculation. In early August, VAA Live posted a teaser showing the silhouettes of seven women and a single ox-eye daisy – the same flower used on the group's "Bulaklak" record – with the caption "REUNION? ANO TARA?" Fans immediately read it as a hint, and the guessing did not stop until Friday.

Talk of a comeback had been going around since January, when Andrea del Rosario said on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda that the group was open to the idea. She recalled being recognized by fans at a mall while they were lining up for SexBomb Girls tickets, and being asked point-blank when the Viva Hot Babes would have their turn. Her only hesitation, she said, was that they would need a fresh angle, since they were never trained dancers the way the SexBomb Girls were.

Days later, Katya Santos appeared to shut the door on it. In a statement thanking fans for the support, she said the members were each busy with their own paths and that a reunion was not happening anytime soon. She is now part of the announced lineup.

The concert also arrives while Filipino audiences are clearly in the mood for early 2000s nostalgia. The SexBomb Girls have been on the road since December 2025 with their own reunion run, which has drawn tens of thousands of fans across the Philippines and in shows abroad.

The Viva Hot Babes were formed in 2003 by Viva Entertainment founder Vic del Rosario, and quickly became one of the most talked-about acts of the decade – known for their sexy image, their novelty dance singles, and choreography that ordinary Filipinos memorized at parties and school programs. "Bulaklak" was their breakout, followed by "Kikay" and "Basketbol."

The lineup changed several times. The original batch included Maui Taylor, Katya Santos, Andrea del Rosario, Jen Rosendahl, Gwen Garci, Myles Hernandez, Kristine Jaca, Hazel Cabrera, and Sheree. A second batch introduced in 2004 brought in Jaycee Parker, Asia Agcaoili, Jennifer Lee, Ella V., and Anna Leah Javier. More batches followed before the group faded from the scene, with many members moving on to acting careers and, later, businesses of their own.

Some of them have crossed paths since. In 2025, several former members reunited informally at the opening of Ella V.'s wellness and spa business, where they performed the "Bulaklak" dance for guests.
