MANILA -- After the success of "Hello, Love, Again," the film's lead actor Alden Richards is making his directorial debut in the upcoming movie "Out of Order."
This was confirmed by his talent management via a social media post on Wednesday afternoon, June 4 as it uploaded the poster of the upcoming film.
Produced by VIVA Films, Richards' own company Myriad, and Studio Viva, the film also stars Nonie Buencamino and actress Heaven Peralejo.
Soliman Cruz, Nicco Manalo, Joyce Ching, and Andrea del Rosario are also part of the film with the special participation of Francine Garcia and Yayo Aguila.
Based on its poster, Richards is using his real name Richard Faulkerson Jr. as the film's director.
"Out of Order" will have its world premiere in competition at the 3rd Da Nang Asian Film Festival in Vietnam on June 29 to July 5.
In a previous interview, Richards shared his dream to become a director.
"I’m doing my job in front of the camera, so parang it’s a very interesting angle also to do things behind the camera,” Richards said.
"Hello, Love, Again," starring Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo and Richards, raked in P1.6 billion at the box office worldwide. The country's first film to gross over P1 billion at the box office worldwide is now streaming on Netflix.
