Prior to the much awaited return of his late night talk show Gandang Gabi Vice, Vice Ganda was already vocal about his excitement at the changes that will be happening, which not just includes the change of where the show will be seen on free TV and online.
“It’s extra exciting because I will be interviewing Kapuso stars eventually kasi 10 years ako nag-I nung nakaraan pero konti lang yung Kapuso stars na in-interview ko. Ngayon magkasama na, Kapuso and Kapamilya. Mas malaki na yung pool of guests na meron ako,” he shared during the Preview Ball event held last September 10 at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Newport World Resorts in Pasay City.
Vice reacted to the recent statements of her pilot episode guest, Alden Richards, about their interview being the best one of his career. Vice had nothing but good things to say about the Kapuso heartthrob.
During her red carpet interview at the Preview Ball, Vice also shared how her interview with Alden first came to be and how mutual their interest was in working together onscreen.
Wala, walang (awkwardness). Mabait kasi siyang tao eh,” she explained.

Another unforgettable moment while taping their interview also ended up in a half hour break, which Alden also divulged to the press. Vice explained that they had to temporarily stop the interview because it became a very emotional moment for Alden.
“Kinuwento niya? Yeah. The interview was so fun tapos he was so open. Parang na-enjoy niya masyado. May part dun na he found the question too personal at nag-pour siya ng so much emotions,” she recalled.

Arriving in designer Anthony Ramirez’s creation that was in theme with the event’s deconstructed creative theme, Vice also explained why she chose to wear the dress. “The material is cow leather and faux crocodile leather. When you talk about crocodiles these days, what do you think about? So my outfit is kind of political. I’m always happy that Preview has considered me like their family. Parang taon taon nag-pri-Preview ako. Every year, invited ako sa mga ganap nila. But I was able to establish a very good relationship with Preview and that’s what I am most happy about,” she said.

Apart from the return of GGV, Vice is also busy shooting her entry to this year's Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) with The Greatest Showdown with Vic Sotto. Vice admitted he feels grateful for the opportunity to work with the veteran comedian for the very first time on the big screen this year.
“iWala naman akong iniisip na anything scary about him.
