Actress Empress Schuck has revealed the gender of their second baby.
The actress, together with her husband Vino Guingona, are expecting another baby girl. Empress made the announcement through a series of photos on Instagram.
“I can’t believe it! It’s another girl!😅😱🩷🎊💕,” Empress wrote in her caption.
In the photos, Empress and Vino wore matching pastel pink outfits as they posed beside pink balloons and flowers. They also held a card that read, “It’s a girl!” together with a sonogram of their baby.
Their firstborn, Athalia, also joined her parents in one of the photos as they celebrated the upcoming addition to their family.
It was in July when Empress and Vino announced that they were expecting their second child.
In a maternity video, Empress appeared in a flowing white dress while proudly showing off her growing baby bump. Vino and Athalia also joined her in the sweet announcement.
The pregnancy comes after Empress previously opened up about experiencing miscarriages.
In 2024, the actress shared that she and Vino had suffered pregnancy losses.
“This year, we would’ve been a family of four or even five. From two embryos, to one, then to none. I’m still not sure how to talk about it. I just know that sometimes our plans for ourselves don’t align with God’s plans for us,” she said at the time.
Empress expressed her gratitude to Vino, whom she described as her source of strength during the difficult period.
“We may not exactly understand how we feel about this, but having each other is enough to say that everything will be ok. To our family who showed us care and love, thank you and we appreciate all of you,” she added.
Empress and Vino welcomed their eldest daughter, Athalia, in 2015. By 2021, the couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at Hillcreek Gardens in Tagaytay.
