Carolina Pimentel, the wife of Emmanuel “Jimuel” Pacquiao Jr., begins rebuilding her body and strength as a new mom by starting her postpartum fitness journey.

Jimuel, the son of boxing legend Manny Pacquiao and Jinkee Pacquiao, and Carolina welcomed their daughter, Clara, in November 2025.

In a Facebook post on September 6, Carolina shared a video documenting the beginning of her fitness routine, where she was seen stretching and lifting weights, and even showing off her postpartum belly.

“Motherhood has been a wonderful journey but unfortunately it's changed a lot about my body and how I kind of view myself,” she narrated.

Carolina then shared that she weighed 128 pounds (58 kilos) before becoming pregnant. By the time she gave birth, her weight had increased to 165 pounds (74.8 kilos), while she weighed 155 pounds (70.3 kilos) immediately after giving birth to Clara.

“And I stayed at that weight for maybe 3 months,” she said. “Slowly but surely the weight has been coming off. I'm breastfeeding also and usually it helps people lose weight, but I'm having the opposite. My body is holding on to every single pound it can grab.”

Now at 144 pounds (65.3 kilos), Carolina said she is ready to work toward losing the remaining weight she gained during pregnancy while also becoming stronger.

“I'm excited to share this fitness journey with you and I hope that all you moms out there know you're not alone,” she maintained.

In her caption, Carolina acknowledged that the pressure to quickly return to one’s pre-pregnancy body can be challenging for new mothers.

“I’m excited (and a little nervous) to share my postpartum journey with you all. 🤍,” she wrote.

“The pressure to ‘snap back’ after giving birth can be so real, but the truth is, rebuilding your body takes time, patience, and a whole lot of grace. I feel incredibly blessed to have a healthy, beautiful baby, and I’m also proud of myself for recognizing that there’s work ahead as I rebuild my strength and feel more like myself again,” she added.

Rather than rushing out the process, Carolina said she is choosing to embrace each step of her recovery.

“I gained weight during pregnancy, as my body was supposed to, and now I’m embracing the process of getting stronger — physically and mentally — one workout at a time.

“This is where my postpartum journey begins,” she ended.

Her post was met with support from fellow moms and followers, who encouraged her to be patient with herself as she works toward her fitness goals.

“You got this!! You look great already 🫶🏽... Just know there's many moms are with you getting it and showing up in spirit ❤️,” one fan commented.

“I'm rooting for you Carolina! Just remember to be easy on yourself. Your body brought the most amazing gift from God - your precious Clara. You are beautiful the way you are, and I can see that you are a great Mom!” another wrote.

Carolina and Jimuel  exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony in California on June 13 (PHT).
