These were the words Filipino tennis superstar Alex Eala had written on her Instagram a few years ago when she lost the qualifiers at the Ningbo Open. It’s proven to be true for her case as fast forward a few months later, she would have her breakout match at the Miami Open where she would go on to defeat three Grand Slam winners–– Jelena Ostapenko, Madison Keys, and Iga Swiatek.
Since then, Alex has continued to improve her game as she sits comfortably alongside the Top 20 of the world.

She had a good run at Wimbledon–– the first ever Filipino player to play up until the fourth round in the singles tournament.
It was also this year wherein Alex claimed her first ever WTA tour-level title at the DC Open in Washington DC–– further cementing her place among the best of the best in the professional circuit.
The Filipina tennis superstar had to face several big names in tennis to achieve her first title–– Qinwen Zhang in the first round, defending champion Leylah Fernandez in the second, Top 10 player Elina Svitolina in quarterfinals, Multi Grand Slam winner Naomi Osaka in the semifinals, and avenging her 2025 Miami Open loss against Jessica at the Finals.

Alex's strong mentality and her desire to win have been an inspiration for thousands of her fans who continue to support her in all parts of the world. She has drawn huge crowds–– from the Australian Open this year up until the US Open.
