Kapamilya stars Janine Gutierrez and Jericho Rosales are heading to the United Kingdom to headline Barrio Fiesta London 2026, set for July 26 at Apps Court Farm in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, where they will reunite with Filipino communities abroad through music and entertainment.
For Gutierrez, the event marks her first time performing at the long-running Filipino festival, making the trip even more special.
“Ako excited kasi it’s my first time to do Barrio Fiesta. Matagal na rin akong 'di nakakapunta sa London so I’m excited to see the Kapamilyas in the UK. I’m just happy kasi siyempre you get to celebrate with our OFWs and sana maging happy sila na makita kami,” she said.

Rosales, meanwhile, shared his excitement about returning to London and performing alongside fellow singer Jed Madela.
“I’m excited. I’ve been there before. And we’re gonna be with Jed, so it should be fun. Yeah, Jed’s such a great performer and singer. We’re so excited. And it’s great weather,” he said.
Gutierrez said the event is also an opportunity to personally thank overseas Filipinos for their unwavering support.
“Ako, siyempre, happy ako na makapag-thank you ng harap-harapan sa lahat ng suporta nila sa mga palabas natin, of course. 'Yun nga, makisaya lang. And hopefully, makapagdala ng konting ligaya sa mga Kapamilya,” she shared.
For Rosales, gatherings like Barrio Fiesta London go beyond entertainment, serving as a celebration of Filipino identity despite the challenges many overseas Filipinos face.

“It’s a very important time to celebrate Pinoy-ship. Times are difficult, but there’s a lot more reasons to celebrate our culture, celebrate pagka-Pilipino. We have to strengthen that, strengthen the bond and the Pinoy pride. Kahit nasa ibang bansa tayo, we’re Filipino,” he said.
Aside from preparing for the London show, Gutierrez also expressed gratitude for the overwhelming response to their hit Prime Video series “The Loyalty Game,” where she stars alongside Rosales.
“Sobrang grateful kasi we’re happy na na-enjoy ng mga tao ang palabas at inaabangan nila. Nabibitin sila kasi episodes every Friday. We’re happy kasi parang naging habit na ng mga tao na panoorin sa Prime on Fridays,” she said.
Rosales also thanked viewers for supporting the series and encouraged them to continue sharing their reactions.
“Just keep the comments coming. Ang saya naming binabasa sila. Pinaghirapan talaga namin ito. Sobrang pagod ng lahat ng tao nung ginagawa namin ito. So it’s such a reward na makita namin na nag-i-enjoy sila. Thank you so much!” he said.
