MANILA -- (UPDATED) Kapamilya singer Angeline Quinto has finally graduated from college, fulfilling her promise to herself and her late mother, Mama Bob.
On Tuesday, June 16, Quinto attended her graduation ceremony, after completing her degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management from Immaculada Concepcion College in Caloocan City.
On Wednesday afternoon, the singer turned to social media to share her life's newest achievement, as she posted snaps taken from her graduation ceremony.
Sharing lines from her hit song "Patuloy Ang Pangarap," Quinto looked back on the challenges she had to overcome to get her degree.
"Sa kabila ng puyat at pagod kasabay ng pagiging nanay kay (Sylvio and Sylvia) kasabay ng mga shows, music events out of town and out of the country, shoot ng series, kinaya," she wrote, as she thanked her family, particularly her husband and children for being her biggest inspiration.
Quinto also offered her latest achievement to her Mama Bob. "And Mama… My angel in heaven, this is the moment I wish l could share with you the most. I love you forever," she wrote.
During her contract signing with One Music Management and Star Music last March, Quinto revealed that she had kept her academic journey a secret to surprise her family.
“Hindi alam ng family ko and asawa ko… Ang pagtupad ng pangarap walang pinipiling edad. Kahit wala na si Mama Bob, itinuloy ko pa rin pangarap,” she said.
