Kylie Padilla has affirmed that she is in a good place in her life, saying she is happily single while maintaining a peaceful and mature relationship dynamic with her former husband, Aljur Abrenica, and his partner, AJ Raval.
In an interview with Boy Abunda on February 6, the actress spoke candidly about her current relationship status and an unexpected moment when she crossed paths with Aljur and AJ during a dinner, which eventually turned into a shared moment for their children.

When asked directly if she is single, Kylie answered without hesitation: “Happily single, yes. I’m happily single.”
Kylie, who has two sons with Aljur, Alas Joaquin and Axl Romeo, said her priorities are clear at this point in her life, choosing to focus on motherhood rather than romance.
“I think it's time I focus muna on my children, which is what I'm doing,” she shared.
The actress revealed that the dinner encounter happened purely by chance, shortly after AJ’s guest appearance on the show last November. What began as an accidental meeting eventually led to a moment she had long anticipated.
“Actually, alam mo after that Tito Boy, nagkita kami by accident, all of us. Ang saya lang kasi I was waiting for that to happen kasi it’s bound to happen. And when it did, our kids played together. And then we had dinner together. Ang saya lang,” Kylie said.

She recalled how the setup naturally allowed the children to bond while respecting boundaries among adults.
“Nandito ako sa isang table, nandoon sila, pero pinili ko naman kasi ‘yun. I let them have their time,” she said with a laugh.
According to Kylie, it was Aljur who suggested having dinner together so the children could spend time with each other. Kylie emphasized that she also intentionally gave them space, rooted in mutual respect, and her desire to see everyone happy.
“Si Aljur 'yung nagtanong, 'can we have dinner together kasi gusto ko makasama 'yung mga bata?' 'Sure, sure.' May table sila, dun silang lahat, dito ako binubuo ko yung lego ni Alas.”
“I respect their time kasi and I don't want to step on any you know... I love seeing them happy,” she added.

Reflecting on her earlier support for AJ, Kylie reiterated that allowing openness was ultimately for the children’s well-being.
“Masaya. It was for the better talaga. Like I’ve said in my statement, mahirap yung nagsisikreto ka lalo na para sa mga bata...[yung] may tinatago, ayoko,” she said.
Last November, Kylie also expressed this sentiment in a Facebook post, voicing her support for AJ and noting how well their children get along.
“Ito lng po comment ko para matapos na matagal ko na pong alam pero siyempre inuna po namin ang kapakanan ng mga bata. Sobrang close sila at yun pinaka importante. Happy that now di na kailangan mag tago. Proud of you 💪🏻 peace all around. Sana matapos na drama.”
Kylie and Aljur were married in 2018 and separated in 2021. AJ has since clarified that she was not a third party in their relationship.
