Actress and content creator Bea Borres recently shared a deeply personal milestone as she introduced another detail about her life as a first-time mom. In a Facebook post, Bea proudly showed her daughter’s certificate of live birth, highlighting that her baby carries her surname — a choice she said reflects her confidence and strength as a single mother.
Bea gave birth last December 15 but only announced it earlier this week, surprising her followers.

On January 31, Bea posted a photo of the certificate of live birth showing her daughter’s full name, “Victoria Hope Borres.” She also shared that the portion of the certificate referring to her baby’s father was marked as N/A (Not Applicable), something she did not shy away from acknowledging.
“Being called a single mother never really bothered me because I’m confident and know what I’m capable of & one of the proudest moments of my life as a woman was choosing to give my daughter my last name,” Bea wrote.
From the moment she announced her pregnancy, Bea made it clear that she would not disclose the identity of her baby’s father and will be raising her child on her own with the help of her loved ones. In her post, the celebrity mom also addressed the criticism often thrown at single mothers.

“I still don’t get the shame and hatred towards single mothers, we never wanted to be one in the first place. so wag kayong feeling ulirang ama kung stress lang naman inambag niyo hahah 🙂,” she added.
Her post was met with an outpouring of support from friends and followers, many of whom praised her courage and shared their own thoughts about single motherhood.
“Being a single mother is a privilege. It means we us, a woman. We are more capable of being a mother and father at once. And we are more responsible in everything. So there's nothing to be ashamed of being a single mother. Be strong and be brave for your daughter. God bless us all single mothers 💪💪💪❤️❤️,” one netizen commented.

Earlier this week, Bea revealed that her baby had spent 44 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Throughout her posts, she has consistently chosen to hide her daughter’s face in photos to protect her privacy.
This decision later became the subject of online speculation, with one netizen accusing Bea of being ashamed of her baby’s appearance.
“Halatang baby is chaka lol,” the comment read.
Bea immediately addressed the issue, explaining that she is simply not ready to expose her child to the public. She shared that only close family, and friends have seen her baby’s face and warned them not to share or leak any images.
“Not even 24 hours after my post, yet Pea already has a basher. To my family and friends who have received pictures of my Hope, u know who you are. Ikalat niyo na lahat ng baho ko, but not pictures of my baby,” she wrote.
She ended her message with a reminder of her boundaries as a mother and her hopes for the year ahead.
“may we all have hope for this new year, but for now, this Hope is just mine. ty for all your blessings and good wishes ❤,” Bea previously said.
