Actress Nicole Kidman and singer Keith Urban have separated as per report by PEOPLE.
"She didn’t want this. She has been fighting to save the marriage," a source told the magazine regarding the separation.
The couple has been living in separate homes since the start of the summer in the US according to a report by TMZ.
Nicole and Keith have been together for 19 years. They have two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.
They celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary back in June, with Nicole posting: "Happy Anniversary Baby ❤️ @KeithUrban."
In an interview with PEOPLE back in 2024, Nicole credited her family for being a great support system and making it possible for her to have a thriving career.
"I have my sister, mother, nieces, nephews, daughters. I'm raising a soon to be 16-year-old and a 13-year-old who are divine. They're just lovely people and I'm so lucky that I have Keith, who's just my love, my deep, deep love. That gives me the ability to go and do whatever I have to do because I know where I can come back to," she remarked.
Meanwhile, in an interview on the Armchair Expert podcast in September 2020, Keith remarked that he always knew Nicole was the one when he met her.
"She's just the one. She's the one that I was searching for my whole life, and everything not only changed but had to change in me if I was gonna go that road," he remarked.
Keith, who was battling sobriety issues at the time, described the experience as a pivotal turning point in his life. "It was like the ultimate fork in the road moment in my life and it was literally like you either get this right now or you are never, ever gonna get it right. This is your one shot," he recalled.
Nicole and Keith first crossed paths at a gala in January 2005 and went on to marry on June 25, 2006.
