Journalist Kara David turned emotional after meeting Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition housemate Shuvee Etrata.
"Nasa studio si Shuvee. Ito na 'yung pagkakataon ko para magpa-picture," she said in a video she posted on Facebook on Friday, June 20.
During their interaction, Kara was in tears as she shared to Shuvee how she supported her journey inside the PBB house. "Every day bumboto ako sa'yo," she told the former housemate.
Shuvee responded: "Sorry."
"Bakit ka nagso-sorry? Sorry konti lang 'yung nagastos ko, kulang pala 'yung budget ko,” Kara quipped.
In her Facebook post, Kara also wrote: "My ShuKla 🩷 is happy. Sobrang humble ni Shuvee. Thank you shuvee and klang 🩷 mahal namin kayo."
Fans online were quick to react to Kara's video.
"Ma'am Kara is every one of us," one fan commented.
"Kakatuwa si Ms. Kara fan girling kay Shuvee," another fan wrote.
Back in June 17, Kara also took to social media to express her sadness following the eviction of Shuvee and Klarisse de Guzman from PBB.
"Sobrang lungkot. Para sa akin, si Shuvee at Klarisse ang pinakatotoo sa loob ng bahay ni Kuya. Haaaay. Ang lungkot ko talaga 🙁," she posted.
The journalist then expressed her gratitude to the two former housemates for inspiring audiences with their journey inside the PBB house. "Salamat Shuvee at Klarisse dahil na-inspire n’yo kaming lumaban. Sa buhay, manalo man o matalo… ang mahalaga, lumaban," she remarked.
Klarisse and Shuvee or the "ShuKla" duo were evicted from the PBB house after placing third, receiving the lowest percentage of votes among the three nominees at 31.50%.
Following their eviction, Shuvee thanked those who supported them in their journey. "Thank you po for the love and support. Patuloy pong magniningning ang aming mga bituin dito sa outside world. We love you all," she said in an interview with the PBB hosts.
When asked about the biggest lessons they gained inside the PBB house, Shuvee replied: "Magpakatotoo. Wala akong regrets dahil sa bahay na yun totoo ko. That's what I am really proud of and naging ka-duo ko si ate Klang."
Meanwhile, Klarisse responded: "Mas magtiwala sa sarili, huwag matakot, and love wins."
