Journalist Kara David took to social media to express her sadness following the eviction of Klarisse de Guzman and Shuvee Etrata from Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition on Saturday, June 14.
"Sobrang lungkot. Para sa akin, si Shuvee at Klarisse ang pinakatotoo sa loob ng bahay ni Kuya. Haaaay. Ang lungkot ko talaga 🙁," she posted on her Facebook page.
She then expressed her gratitude to the two former housemates for inspiring audiences with their journey inside the PBB house. "Salamat Shuvee at Klarisse dahil na-inspire n’yo kaming lumaban. Sa buhay, manalo man o matalo… ang mahalaga, lumaban," she remarked.
Klarisse and Shuvee or the "ShuKla" duo were evicted from the PBB house after placing third, receiving the lowest percentage of votes among the three nominees at 31.50%.
Following their eviction, Klarisse expressed her gratitude to be able to be part of PBB for the past three months.
"Sobrang saya po ng experience na 'to. Hindi ko akalain, three months. Sobrang thankful ako kaya wala akong naramdaman ngayon kundi papasalamat dahil sa experiences and hindi pa naman dito natatapos. Suportahan po natin sila lahat," Klarisse said in an interview with the PBB hosts.
Shuvee also thanked those who supported them in their journey, saying: "Thank you po for the love and support. Patuloy pong magniningning ang aming mga bituin dito sa outside world. We love you all."
When asked about the biggest lessons they gained inside the PBB house, Klarisse responded: "Mas magtiwala sa sarili, huwag matakot, and love wins."
Meanwhile, Shuvee replied: "Magpakatotoo. Wala akong regrets dahil sa bahay na yun totoo ko. That's what I am really proud of and naging ka-duo ko si ate Klang."
Klarisse also took to social media to thank everyone who supported her tandem with Shuvee during their stay in the PBB house. "Maraming Salamat po sa inyong lahat!!! ShuKla loves you all!❤️❤️❤️ Papa roots lang muna ulit si Mowm okie?" she posted on her X page.
Shuvee also shared a heartfelt message of gratitude on Instagram.
"Hello Philippines, Hello World! 🌎 It all started with a dream. A young probinsyana girl wanting to be a housemate. Decades later, that dream turned into a reality. We made it, tiktok fam! 🥺. Thank you po sa lahat ng sumuporta sa akin at sa Team Shukla! Mahal na mahal namin kayo. Ate @klarissedguzman , thank you for being my final duo," she wrote.
