MANILA -- Robi Domingo went to the National Bureau of Investigation Thursday, February 27, regarding a possible complaint on a troll account that threatened him online last week.
"I consulted with a lot of people, including my legal team, and they said it's a go. My relatives included and, of course, my wife," Domingo said.
When the judges of the upcoming season of "Pilipinas Got Talent" was revealed, Domingo received a comment from a troll account on his Instagram post, on what sounds like a threat.

"Alam mo 'yung mga araw na pagod ka, I consulted Mikee about it, sabi ko patulan ko lang, okay lang ba? Sabi niya, just ask questions don't be direct 'coz that will just create turmoil and all," Domingo said.
He continued: "She was right, I asked questions and it did create a lot of things with the fans of Kathryn (Bernardo), and Donbelle, and then ang dami nang nangyari. Sabi nila, 'uy magpaka-kuya ka nga, ayusin mo to!'"
"Sabi ko, paano naman ako. Na-threaten ako. Some people say it can be a minor threat and it's a troll account. I hope this sets an example na minor or major threat, troll or not, you have to take accountability of your actions -- online or offline."
In the midst of the online noise created by the comment of that troll account, Domingo received a message from Belle Mariano.
"Nag-message sa akin si Belle, saying na, 'Hi Kuya I hope you are okay!' She was so nice for telling me na r'est assured my true fans will not harm you in any way, hindi sila ganoon, they love you and respect you a lot.' And I told her the whole story. We're good, we're okay."
This is not the first time that Domingo received nasty comments or threats online, and he hopes to put a stop to these wrong doings online to prevent further escalated consequences.
"Hopefully, everyone especially in the age of social media, everyone please do your part. And please be responsible," he said.
"I am just safeguarding myself, especially with what's gonna happen in the future."
