Karla Estrada addressed Monday the rumored romance between her son Daniel Padilla and fellow actress Kaila Estrada.
"Kung ano yung nakikita ko sa anak ko na masaya siya, masaya na rin ako bilang nanay niya," she said.
While the two are spotted a couple of times already in different occasions, Karla still doesn't want the confirmation to come from her.
"Nasa edad na kasi sila eh, so manggaling na lang sa kanila dahil di na rin naman ako para manguna. Hayaan na natin. Kung ano yung nakikita natin, masaya na naman tayo pare-pareho and I think it's about time na mag mature na tayo sa mga ganitong sitwasyon," she said.
But Karla said she has met Kaila a few times already. "Okay siya. Matagal ko nang namemeet si Kaila kasi me and Ate Janice [de Belen] are very close friends, also John [Estrada]," she said.

Karla spent Christmas with her kids, except Carmella Ford who is still inside the "Pinoy Big Brother" house.
"Tumatanda lahat, nagpapamilya lahat. Lahat excited na ah gusto lang nila kasama ko lang 'yong pamilya ko sa noche buena medyo may konti akong sepanx (separation anxiety) doon. Sabi ni Daniel, basta kumpleto kami, well of course except for Carmella, nasa 'PBB' siya, masaya pero may missing puzzle."
Karla also recently appeared on the reality show to visit her daughter. Netizens were amused by how Karla looked. "Naweirduhan ako sa mga comment ng mga tao na 'Anong nangyari? 'Di ko siya nakilala! Si Karla ba 'yan? Si Momshie ba 'yan?"
"That day, walang ayos. I wanted it simple, kasi nasa loob lang kami ng house ni Kuya," she explained.
Karla was also blessed with an endorsement after a trip to South Korea this year. She was chosen to be the ambassador of W Express, an exclusive courier service partner accredited by KVAC (Korean Visa Assistance Center) for processing and delivering Korean tourist visa applications.
"Like for 14 days you'll get your visa na. Sila yung kasama namin, sila yung nag-assist, sobrang smooth, sobrang convenient wala akong naging problema," she said.
For 2026, Karla is looking forward to Daniel's big screen comeback.
