“It's been a decade since you left your earthly life. Sometimes, I feel like it was only yesterday when that painful morning happened to our family BUT I made sure to share some of our last few happy pics together,” she wrote.
Most of the photos she shared in her post showcased her father and her daughter. She then expressed her gratitude for the guidance and presence despite him being gone physically.
“Thank you for still being there in spirit, especially during those days when I am very, very tired. You surely know when I need you the most. We make sure to talk about you mostly during meals and fondly recall of our happy times together,” she added.
Despite losing him 10 years ago, the Kapamilya actress maintained that she is grateful she had all the memories they shared together–– something she expressed that will be etched in her heart forever.

“You are our best Dad and Nonno to your beautiful grandchildren. I wish you were still given more years to be with us but 10 years ago was your time to go back to our Creator and we cannot thank God enough for blessing us with your life,” she expressed.
“You will forever be in our hearts and we miss you every day,” she ended.
Friends and fans of the actress sent their words of encouragement and comforting messages in the comment section of her post.
Meanwhile, Nikki just celebrated her 28th year in the showbiz industry earlier this year. She was part of the fourth batch of Star Circle talents–– now known as Stat Magic. Since then, Nikki has remained a loyal Kapamilya artist.
“I will never forget to celebrate this day because in this industry where no one is indispensable, it is a beautiful reminder that patience, professionalism, the right attitude towards co- workers and hard work really goes a long way and that I am still here... For that, I will always, ALWAYS be grateful,” she previously expressed.
