With the standings still complicated up until the last day of the eliminations, the Cool Smashers’ loss proved costly that they entirely missed the championship round despite a 3-0 start and having former Japan SV.League player Jaja Santiago-Minowa as anchor.

The High Speed Hitters, for their part, are now hoping to repeat against the 11-time PVL champions for the bronze medal on Thursday.

The Nxled franchise will have a shot on PVL glory—a maiden title at that—although it will be guest squad EST Cola which stands on its way.
The fifth-place match, meanwhile, will feature Farm Fresh and Ho Chi Minh City, after dropping their respective matches earlier in the day.
