MANILA — Spikers’ Turf matches will now be held at the same Premier Volleyball League game dates.

This was announced during the media launch of the leagues’ landmark 10th season on Monday in Quezon City.

ST tournament director Mozzy Ravena said that they have long envisioned this, as the country’s premier volleyball competitions will finally be played side-by-side.

“It took 10 years. Even from the very beginning, we wanted to play side by side with the PVL and finally, as they say, dreams do come true. After 10 years, ito na, maglalaro na kami with the women’s teams sa PVL. Thank you so much for making it happen,” said Ravena.

The men’s volleyball tournament will still have game dates on its own.

Ten teams will be participating in the upcoming 2026 Invitational Conference — ST squads Criss Cross, along with Savouge, Alpha Insurance, Cabstars, 3B and VNS, as well as top two teams from the V-League Men’s Collegiate Challenge.

Completing the field is Armed Forces of the Philippines, set for return in Spikers’ Turf.

All teams will be taking part in a single round-robin elimination, with the top four advancing to the round-robin semifinals, where they will be joined by two foreign guest teams.

The top two finishers in that round will duke it out for the golden trophy.

“Ten seasons is a big milestone for us. When we started, our goal was simply to provide Filipino volleyball players with a platform to compete and showcase their talent. Ten seasons later, we’re very proud of how far the sport – and our leagues – have come,” said Sports Vision president Ricky Palou.
