MANILA — Farm Fresh outlasted Capital1 in five sets, 20-25, 25-19, 22-25, 25-12, 15-10, to conclude its campaign in the 2026 PVL on Tour Showdown, Saturday in Victorias City, Negros Occidental.
Down two sets to one, the Foxies showed grit and resilience, highlighted by a dominant 25-12 win in Set 4—where they owned 11-6 in attacks; 4-2 in blocks; and 5-0 in service aces.
A tight ballgame in the decider, with Farm Fresh only leading by a thread, 5-4, the Foxies pounced on the errors of the Solar Spikers to install an 8-4 cushion.

Despite Capital1 closing within two, 8-6, after Khy Cepada nailed a sharp spike on Ara Galang, there was no recovery for the Jorge de Brito-coached squad, as a Pierre Abellana point from the service line put Farm Fresh up by five, 11-6.

Ysa Jimenez saved one match point after a successful block touch video challenge on her spike, 14-10, but Trisha Tubu was there for the closer, hitting one in the middle to close out the match that lasted two hours and 14 minutes.
Tubu took charge in the Farm Fresh scoring, firing 24 points dealt mostly on attacks, while Ces Molina shone with a triple-double of 16 points, 11 digs, and 17 receptions.
Ara Galang showed her vintage form with a 14-point output, as Louie Romero pulled the strings with 23 excellent sets.
The Solar Spikers are missing the services of their Alas Pilipinas players—Bella Belen, Vanie Gandler, and Erika Santos—who continue to serve the flag and are expected to participate in the Philippines' campaign in the Asian Games.
Without them, it was Shaya Adorador who flexed her scoring prowess by tallying 14 points, as Jimenez added 13 markers, and Cherry Nunag chipped in 11. Rookie Detdet Pepito held the fort in the Capital1 defense, listing 16 digs and 14 receptions.
