Star libero Kath Arado, who hails from Iligan, Lanao del Norte, shone in her homecoming, posting 19 excellent digs to earn Player of the Game honors.
The PLDT offense was led by Savi Davison, who had 22 points while Kim Dy had nine, as Mika Reyes, Alleiah Malaluan, Majoy Baron and Jovie Prada each had six markers.

The High Speed Hitters conclude their preseason run with a 2-0 slate, with their Santiago stop canceled due to inclement weather.
On the other hand, resurging Faith Nisperos scored 12 points and Chenie Tagaod added eight markers, as the Akari notched a third set win, but was not enough as PLDT stepped away with a four-set triumph.
PLDT found its biggest Akari challenge in Set 2, where the Chargers even led 22-16, but the resurgent High Speed Hitters found a way back, capped by an Eli Soyud attack error for a 2-0 lead by then.
