PVL MediaMANILA — Creamline clipped Galeries in straight sets, 25-21, 25-16, 25-21, as Jaja Santiago-Minowa officially made her Premier Volleyball League (PVL) comeback on Saturday in Victorias City, Negros Occidental.
Santiago-Minowa even started for the squad as she suited up for the champion squad for the first time.
It was also a reunion with Alyssa Valdez, whom she played with in their PLDT days in the Shakey's V League.

The Cool Smashers ended their preseason tour with a win, heading into the Invitationals kicking off on August 31.
With Galeries leading by three, 14-11, midway through Set 3, the Cool Smashers had to work it out despite sitting on a 2-0 set lead. Kyle Negrito later on gave Creamline the lead at the 18-17 mark, but Creamline errors and Aiza Maizo-Pontillas made it a close game in Set 3.
The turnaround came for Creamline late, as a Jema Galanza off-the-block hit sparked Creamline's 6-1 finishing kick—from a 20-19 Galeries edge—with Negrito, Bea de Leon, Alyssa Valdez, and Pangs Panaga all contributing to close out the match in one hour and 24 minutes.
Valdez finished with a game-high 10 points, as Santiago-Minowa, Panaga, and Tots Carlos listed six points each. Galanza chipped in seven markers to go with 11 digs.
Meanwhile, it was back-to-back losses for the Highrisers, despite starting their preseason run with a win over Farm Fresh. Jean Asis had her moments, tallying a team-high nine points in the Galeries loss.
