MANILA -- The Alas Pilipinas beach pair of Sisi Rondina and Bernadeth Pons claimed a silver medal at the AVC Beach Tour Pingtung Open.
The duo famously dubbed as “SiPons” settled for the first runner-up after falling to Olympian Taliqua Clancy and rising star Stefie Fejes, 19-21, 12-21, on Sunday in Pingtung, Chinese Taipei.

They advanced to the gold medal match after a hard-earned straight-set semis win over Thailand’s Taravadee Naraphornrapat and Worapeerachayakorn Kongphopsarutawadee, 21-17, 26-24.
Despite the loss, it was still an impressive performance on the sands for Rondina and Pons, following their historic gold medal at the 2025 Southeast Asian Games last December.
