MANILA, Philippines – Abed "Abed" Yusop, Jinn Marrey "Palos" Lamatao, and the rest of Aurora are going to the main event of DreamLeague Season 25, a $1-million Dota 2 tourney in Europe.
Aurora though had to defeat fellow countrymen in Boom Esports in a best-of-three series--Timothy "TIMS" Randrup, Mc Nicholson "Mac" Villanueva, and Jaunuel "Jaunuel" Arcilla--in the upper bracket final of the Southeast Asia closed qualifiers, Wednesday night.
All three games almost reached one hour, showing the competitiveness of both teams.
All's not lost for Boom as it could still snatch a spot in DreamLeague, although the squad could face fellow Pinoys in the lower bracket final.
