BERLIN — At IFA 2026 in Berlin, Acer unveiled its vision for the next wave of desktop computing: the Acer SFF RTX Spark. The compact desktop is built around NVIDIA’s new RTX Spark superchip, bringing enterprise-tier horsepower into a space-saving footprint.

Underneath the hood, the mini PC packs a heavy-hitting spec sheet. It features up to a 20-core NVIDIA Grace CPU paired with up to a 6,144-core Blackwell RTX GPU. Backed by up to 128GB of high-speed unified memory, the hardware delivers up to 1 petaflop of AI compute performance.

Why hoard so much compute in a tiny box? Acer and NVIDIA are aiming this rig squarely at local, "agentic" AI. Instead of relying on cloud servers for every task, the system is engineered to run personal AI agents directly on-device.

That means rapid local processing alongside NVIDIA’s full stack of AI and RTX technologies, while keeping sensitive personal data strictly private on your own hard drive.

Beyond AI developers, the machine is tailored for content creators and high-performance gamers who need serious graphics chops without a massive tower taking over their workspace.

For now, the Acer SFF RTX Spark remains a design showcase. Acer hasn't shared pricing or launch dates, promising to announce availability at a future date. But as the PC landscape shifts toward always-on local intelligence, Acer’s compact desktop offers a tantalizing preview of where hardware is headed.

Acer has said that it is looking to further boost its presence in the commercial market and sees AI PCs as a fresh growth opportunity.
