The Sept. 14 elections will choose the first regularly elected 80-member Bangsamoro Parliament after years of transition under the Bangsamoro Transition Authority.

The Parliament will consist of 40 party representatives, 32 district representatives and eight sectoral representatives.
Voters made eight choices: one political party, one district representative and six sectoral representatives.
For the party vote, voters chose a political party rather than an individual candidate.
The 40 party seats will be distributed through proportional representation, with parties needing at least 2.5 percent of the relevant votes to qualify for seat allocation.
