MANILA — The transmission of votes of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) parliamentary election to the server of poll watchdog Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) was at 98.43 percent as of Tuesday morning.
The percentage is equivalent to 1.8 million votes.
Of the 5,212 clustered precincts, 5,130 have sent the results as of 10:45 a.m.
PPCRV spokesperson Ana Singson said the transmission was “incredibly fast.”
“The balance is mostly from polling centers placed under Comelec jurisdiction who are voting now,” she told ABS-CBN News in a message.
Voters of Maluso, Basilan cast their votes on Tuesday, a day after the BARMM poll, following an issue of ballot tampering.
Based on latest data, the Bangsamoro Federalist Party led the regional political party race with around 659,000 votes. It is followed by United Bangsamoro Justice Party with 607,000 votes and BARMM Grand Coalition with 386,000 votes.

The PPCRV will conduct a random manual audit from Sept. 17 to 22.
Under this process, the election returns printed from the polling precincts will be brought to the PPCRV Command Center.
Student volunteers of AMA, where the command center is located, will scan the election returns to see the number of votes. The figure will be compared to the data transmitted to the server.
If there is a discrepancy, the PPCRV will relay it to the Commission on Elections.
On election day, PPCRV volunteers in BARMM have reported election-related violence and violations such as multiple voting, shooting, and explosions.
But the citizens arm still consider the first BARMM parliamentary election “generally peaceful,” saying the incidents were not widespread.
