A musical exploring the haunting question of "what if" is set to take the stage at the Globe Auditorium of the Maybank Performing Arts Theater in Taguig this September.
The upcoming production, "Muli: An OPM Musical," comes from the same creative team behind the hit musical "Sa Wakas," with Charissa Pammit serving as executive producer and writer, and Andrei Pamintuan as stage director.
The musical "takes viewers on a musical and visual journey through the '90s and early 2000s, anchoring its nostalgic vibe on the timeless themes of unfulfilled dreams and second chances," according to a press release.
Gawad Urian Award-winning actress Kakki Teodoro and singer Janine Teñoso will lead the cast, portraying a mother and daughter, respectively, as previously announced by the production on social media.
Notably, this also marks Teñoso's stage debut.

The cast also includes Vien King, Marvin Ong, Justine Peña, and Marynor Madamesila, alongside internet personality and "Dogshow Divas" podcast host Baus Rufo, who is making his professional theater debut.
The musical's book and lyrics were co-written by Pammit and PeopleAsia editor-in-chief Jose Paolo dela Cruz.
FLIPMUSIC, the group behind hits by Sarah Geronimo and girl group BINI, also wrote and produced original songs for the musical.
"Muli" will run from September 11 to 27, with tickets set to go on general sale through TicketWorld on July 2.
