Four of the so-called "It Girls" are back together for work as Liz Uy, Georgina Wilson, Solenn Heussaff, and Isabelle Daza have reunited for the Belo Body Reset campaign.
Speaking with ABS-CBN News during the campaign launch, the girls shared that they never actually left each other as they remained friends through the years.
"We never disappeared!" said Heussaff.
"Grabe, kinalimutan ninyo na kami, we're just here," Uy chimed in.
"We see each other every day!" added Wilson.
But being together for work certainly felt good for the four of them, said Heussaff. "It’s always nice to work with friends as well, we always hang out together. Even if they live in different countries, we always make sure we see each other a lot," she said.
Back in the day, the "It Girls" were always on the cover of magazines, and were spotted at endorsements and beauty and glam events.
They were the "peg" -- along with "It's Showtime" host Anne Curtis, who is also part of their group.
The ladies shared that there were a lot of misconceptions about them.
"That we're party girls. We know we have fun. Back then, we were labelled as party girls 'cause we were dancing or whatever. We're just having fun. We're just alone in the room celebrating life together," Heussaff said.
Daza touched on the topic that some people were trying to pit them against each other. But in reality, they were supporting each other's paths.
"One of the things that we love is we are able to celebrate each other in different aspects of life. Like when we talk together, we feel very supported. That's quite rare in this industry," she said. "In this industry, it's a lot about competition, it's a lot about crab mentality."
Daza continued: "Together, we were all finding ourselves. It's a tough battle in our 20s to kind of realize what is your lane, but we supported each other. We are happy for each other's success."
To which Wilson replied in jest: "Pag lahat maganda, wala nang competition. Pag lahat sexy, wala nang competition, celebrate na lang!"
Uy, for her part, said: "Publicly, it's so different how people perceive us. But privately, we love and care for each other."
For Wilson, her besties are her biggest flex in life.
"There was this trend, you had to post 2016. And then I saw this meme that said: ‘The biggest flex is posting the same set of friends.' I'm not crying, but I think that's our biggest asset in life, having old friends," she said.
"That's the real gem in life, that we're still together."
