MANILA (UPDATED) -- Surprise, pageant fans! Former Miss Universe Philippines Beatrice Gomez is now married.
The Cebuana beauty tied the knot with musician John Odin in an intimate ceremony in La Union.
The newlyweds shared the good news via Instagram Stories on Wednesday, October 8, as they reposted photos from their big day.

Gomez is known for representing the Philippines in the 70th Miss Universe pageant in Israel in 2021.
She finished in the Top 5, with India's Harnaaz Sandhu winning the crown.
After her Miss Universe stint, Gomez went on to pursue her other dreams such as going back to school, on top of her work as a model and a Philippine Navy reservist.
In 2022, Gomez first hinted about her relationship with Odin by posting about her Valentine's Day celebration.
A year later, she took to social media to address remarks about her new relationship, which came after she broke up with her long-time girlfriend.
Gomez maintained that she is still part of the LGBTQIA+ community, saying she is pansexual.
"Yes I am with someone now who is from the opposite sex but that doesn't change who I am and what I stand for," she said.
"I am pansexual which means I have no regard for a person's gender, which technically makes me a bisexual as I can be with either sexes," she added.
