MANILA — Fairmont Makati will join more than 90 Fairmont Hotels & Resorts properties worldwide in the inaugural “Move for Wishes” fundraising campaign for Make-A-Wish this September.
As part of the campaign, Fairmont Makati will host “Move for Wishes: Body, Mind & Spirit with Soulful Feasts” on Sept. 26 at the Social Lounge on the hotel’s 11th floor.
Led by author, podcaster and Soulful Feasts founder Stephanie Zubiri, the wellness session will combine mindful movement, breathwork, meditation, guided reflection and energy-awareness exercises.
The two-hour session, which runs from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., is designed to help participants reconnect with their bodies, release tension and cultivate greater awareness and resilience.
Registration starts at 8 a.m., followed by healthy refreshments at 10:35 a.m. The event ends at noon.
Tickets are priced at P2,500 net per person, with all proceeds going to Make-A-Wish.
“Through Move for Wishes: Body, Mind & Spirit with Soulful Feasts, we are delighted to bring our community together for a meaningful morning of movement and mindfulness while supporting the important work of Make-A-Wish,” Fairmont Makati Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing Kimmy Gran-Labayandoy said.
The campaign is part of Fairmont’s “Wellness Without Walls” initiative, which encourages guests to incorporate movement and wellness into their travel experiences.
“Move for Wishes” builds on Fairmont’s “Wishes Start Here” partnership with Make-A-Wish, which began in 2022. The hotel group said its relationship with the organization spans more than 20 years.
Guests at Fairmont properties worldwide can participate in fundraising classes and wellness experiences throughout September, with proceeds supporting Make-A-Wish and its efforts to grant wishes for children with critical illnesses.
Members of ALL Accor, the group’s booking and loyalty program, can also donate loyalty points to Make-A-Wish as part of its year-round fundraising efforts.
