Mimiyuuuh marks another milestone as a local style icon as the face of this year's Manila Fashion Week.

The social media star said she is honored to headline the prestigious event, which runs until October 19 at SM Aura Premier mall in Taguig.

"Excited rin po ako to see all the collections from the different designers and appreciate kung gaano po kahusay ang ating mga local fashion designers," she said. "Let's continue to support and celebrate our local talents! Mabuhay!"

Mimiyuuuh went on to dedicate her latest achievement to her fellow members of the LGBTQIA+ community, particularly the youth, reminding them to not give up on their dreams.

"I'm doing this for all the batang badings out there! If I can, we all can!" she said.

While she rose to fame for her "Dalagang Pilipina" and "It Really Hurts" online crazes, Mimiyuuuh has always been a fashion girl at heart.

She graduated from De La Salle-College of St. Benilde with a degree in Fashion Design and Merchandising.

After working as an intern for top local fashion designer Mark Bumgarner, Mimiyuuuh started her own clothing brand.

Named Fangs, it was marketed as "a contemporary street style brand that empowers women through unconventional and rugged clothing."

Since then, Mimiyuuuh has since been considered among the "it girls" of Philippine fashion, with her fun and experimental style featured in various magazines.
