Michelle Dee's look for the 2025 Preview Ball, where she was hailed as among the country's best dressed. Dee/InstagramMichelle Dee has conquered not just pageantry and showbiz, but also the world of fashion.
The actress and former Miss Universe Philippines titleholder has been dubbed as a style star in two magazines this year.
She is part of the 2025 best dressed list of the homegrown fashion magazine Preview, and this year's Asia's Most Stylish lineup of Tatler Philippines.
"As an Asia's Most Stylish honoree, Dee proves that style with purpose is as much about conviction as it is about beauty," said Tatler Philippines on its social media pages.
Preview, for its part, commended Dee's "deliberate storytelling" in her pageant journey through fashion.
"Her Miss Universe gown in homage to Apo Whang-Od and choice of 100% Filipino designers demonstrate how fashion can embody both narrative and national pride," the magazine said.
On Instagram, Dee expressed gratitude for the recognition, adding that beyond the clothes, it's about confidence and authenticity.
"Style has always been more than what I wear -- it's the confidence, discipline, and purpose carried into every room," she said.
Dee represented the Philippines in the Miss Universe pageant in El Salvador, where she finished in the Top 10 and won a handful of special awards.
It was a natural path for her given her showbiz roots -- she is the daughter of Miss International 1979 Melanie Marquez and cousin of fellow actress and beauty queen Winwyn Marquez.
Dee, who turned 30 this year, went on to explore a career as a recording artist via her debut single "Reyna," a song about "confidence, self-love, and owning your crown."
