Beauty queen-turned-actress Rabiya Mateo took to social media to share the joy of solo dates, which she considers "underrated."
In an Instagram post, she gave a glimpse of her "me time" which included shopping, having dinner and dessert, and watching a movie.
"Treat yourself like the prize that you are. Being single isn’t sad, it's a standard," she wrote in the caption.
Mateo was last known to be in a relationship with actor Jeric Gonzales. The two have neither confirmed nor denied rumors that they have called it quits.
This, however, did not stop her from living her best life as she has been showing her adventurous side this year, trying activities such as skydiving and wakeboarding.
Last August, she spoke of being an independent woman in an Instagram post: "She works on herself. For herself. By herself."
Mateo rose to fame after representing the Philippines in the 69th Miss Universe pageant, which was held in the US in May 2021.
She finished in the Top 21 of the competition, which was won by Andrea Meza of Mexico.
