The Miss Philippines Earth Foundation and its reigning queens launched a donation drive on Friday to help communities affected by the back-to-back storms in the country.

On Facebook, the organization called on the public to show their compassion to families in need of basic necessities amid the wrath of "Crising", "Emong," and "Dante," and the habagat (southwest monsoon).

Food packs, drinking water, clothes, blankets, and hygiene kits may be dropped off at the Carousel Mansion in Mandaluyong City.

Monetary donations are also accepted, with more details provided below:

Miss Philippines Earth selects the country's representatives for Miss Earth, a Manila-based international pageant.

Irha Mel Alfeche leads the reigning batch of Miss Philippines Earth queens. She finished in the Top 12 of Miss Earth 2024, which was won by Jessica Lane of Australia.

The 2025 coronation night will be held on August 10 at Okada Manila in Parañaque.

In its 25-year history, Miss Philippines Earth has advocated for environmental awareness, sustainable living, and eco-tourism, among others.

MUPH encourages public to donate

Meanwhile, Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) is also using its platform to help those in need amid the calamities.

On its social media pages, the organization asked pageant fans to show their generosity by supporting efforts of the likes of Caritas Manila, LoveYourself, JCI Manila, and Save the Children.

"If we can come together to support our queens, we can come together to support our fellow Filipinos in need," MUPH said. "This is a time to show up and help in whatever way we can."

More details can be found below:

MUPH recently crowned Ahtisa Manalo as its reigning queen.

She will represent the country in this year's Miss Universe pageant, which will be held in Thailand in November.
