Apart from being two of the brightest child stars of their generation, Alexa Ilacad and Xyriel Manabat won audiences over even more when they stepped inside Bahay ni Kuya, where they revealed charming personalities that continued to shine beyond the spotlight.
In this episode of “Hello Outside World,” former “PBB Kumunity Season 10” housemate Alexa Ilacad and “PBB Celebrity Collab Edition” alum Xyriel Manabat look back on their rise to stardom, sharing candid revelations and inspiring stories that have shaped their journeys as actors.
Alexa and Xyriel then took on the “Hello or Goodbye” challenge, where they said “Hello” to categories they would be willing to try and “Goodbye” to activities they would rather skip.
For the first prompt, Xyriel quickly said “Goodbye” to homeschooling, admitting that it was something she had never experienced. “Kahit na lagi akong may work, kahit sunod-sunod po ’yong taping or kahit ang dami ko pong ginagawang project, papasok at papasok po ako sa school,” she remarked.
Meanwhile, Alexa said “Hello” to home-based learning, recalling her experience of being homeschooled during high school. “I liked it naman. I liked being alone a lot. I like doing everything on my own,” she shared, adding that this preference for independence carried over into college, where she also preferred studying on her own.
From school life, the conversation shifted to relationships in the entertainment industry. When asked about the possibility of getting romantically involved with a director, Alexa said it would depend on their age gap. “I'm not close-minded about this. Kung vibes naman kami tapos medyo hindi sobrang layo ng age gap, why not? Pwede,” she said.
Xyriel echoed her sentiments with a playful twist: “Kasi malay natin ‘yung crush ko ngayon, maging director siya.” Known for admiring Kapamilya heartthrob Enchong Dee, both Alexa and Xyriel gushed over the idea of him stepping behind the camera, joking that they wouldn’t even ask for a talent fee if they ever worked with him as their director. Still, Xyriel ultimately said “Goodbye,” explaining that she prefers to keep her personal life separate from work.

The spotlight then turned to Alexa, who strongly related to the next prompt she picked. Having experienced it herself, she said “Hello,” despite acknowledging how difficult it was. Choosing not to reveal the question to keep fans guessing, Xyriel offered her own take, saying she isn’t closing the door on the possibility either.
When the topic turned to portraying “tomboy na role with kissing scene,” the “Miss Behave” stars didn’t hesitate to say “Hello,” expressing their interest in exploring a GL (Girls’ Love) project. Alexa emphasized that such series should prioritize queer actors who genuinely fit the roles but admitted she would still be thrilled to take part if given the opportunity.
Xyriel, meanwhile, revealed that she had already expressed her interest off-camera, telling colleagues that she was open to portraying a lesbian character. “I love everything that is new, brave, challenging,” she proudly said.
For the final scenario, Alexa and Xyriel enthusiastically said “Hello na Hello” to the idea of portraying a bida-kontrabida character. Alexa shared her excitement about starring in a series similar to the 2010 teleserye “Rubi,” in which Angelica Panganiban played a villainous protagonist.
