Genuine friendships are hard to find, but for childhood best friends Billy Cariño (Kathryn Bernardo) and Jordan Valentin (James Reid) in “Someone, Someday,” their bond is entirely effortless, and they plan to make it last a lifetime.
From understanding each other’s grief at a young age to growing through every challenge together, here are the ten admirable moments of Billy and Jordan’s unparalleled bond!
#1: Billy and Jordan’s emotional first encounter
Young Billy and Jordan met each other at the cemetery, with Jordan approaching the weeping Billy as she held baby Oliver (Migz Casimiro) in her little arms. The gray skies seemed to understand both Jordan and Billy’s grief, especially regarding their recently departed mothers and the pain of being abandoned by their fathers.
#2: Jordan readily accompanies the troubled Billy
Wanting to confirm if Jordan’s ex-girlfriend Valerie (Daniela Stranner) was really the mastermind behind the hacking of Lovelist, Billy immediately confronted her outside a mall. Right after their clash, Jordan followed Billy and calmly watched her let off steam over the hacking incident and her car failing to start.
Used to dealing with Billy’s emotional states, Jordan simply assured her that they’d fix everything and took her for a ride on his motorcycle.
#3: Jordan finds the exact location of LoveList’s hacker
In a phone call, Billy thanked Jordan for blocking the hacker who was responsible for ruining LoveList online. Jordan then explained that it was quite difficult chasing the hacker and ultimately agreed with Billy’s speculation that it’s the same person relentlessly reposting videos about Billy and the troll accounts in the LoveSpeak feature. Just seconds after Billy reminded Jordan about Oliver’s upcoming family day, he successfully figured out the location of the hacker.
#4: Billy takes care of the wounded Jordan
Soon enough, the two best friends managed to run into the hacker named Caloy (McCoy de Leon), though it ended with Billy becoming trapped and Jordan getting stabbed. Once things had calmed down with Caloy’s arrest, Billy took care of Jordan and mentioned the ongoing investigation regarding Caloy’s unidentified boss.
When Jordan expressed his hope that the perpetrator wasn’t Valerie, Billy quickly apologized for dragging him into the mess. Meanwhile, it was just natural for Jordan to lend a helping hand to Billy, regardless of the situation.
#5: Billy scolds Jordan for attempting to track Caloy’s boss
In the aftermath of Caloy’s mysterious accomplice posting bail for him, Jordan wasted no time searching for Caloy until he spotted him conversing with someone inside a taxi. As the ones who went with Jordan, both Robbie (Nicco Manalo) and Rain (Bong Gonzales) decided to inform Billy of their secret investigation.
Before Billy got completely mad, Jordan detailed his observations, which led Billy to the idea of checking the taxi’s plate number. Hearing about the required court order as well as Caloy’s intimidating presence, Billy eventually scolded Jordan, though he still refused to promise that he would stop investigating.

Losing his temper at the deceitful Caloy, Jordan got detained, with Robbie and Rain staying by his side. Jordan shared that he didn’t want to forgive his father anymore since he returned to take him away from his Lolo Jude (Leo Rialp). On the other hand, Billy recalled how Jordan often helped her hide from the social welfare commission whenever they tried to separate her from Oliver.

Following the incident of being attacked by Caloy, who was acting on Bea’s (Maja Salvador) orders, Billy woke up in the hospital to find Jordan consoling her. She then wondered when both Bea and Caloy would stop tormenting her family, while Jordan expressed his immense relief over her safety.
